WHAT YOU’LL DO?

Under the supervision of the Yard Coordinator, the General Labor – Logistic is primarily responsible for handling, moving, loading and unloading materials, tools, equipment and machinery. According to the different tasks, he may use material handling equipment.

RESPONSABILITIES AND DUTIES

Load, unload, move and secure products, materials with his hands or by using material handling equipment;

Count, weigh, sort, pack and unpack various products and materials;

Open crates, fill orders in a warehouse, assist in taking inventory, weight and check other items;

Store items in an orderly manner that is easily accessible in a warehouse or tool depot;

Clear snow from yards, walkways, stairs, etc. during the winter period;

Maintain and repair certain tools and equipment.


WHAT YOU’LL BRING?

REQUIREMENTS

WHMIS training;
1 to 3 years of experience as a Material Handler;

Experience in operating a forklift truck and a lifting platform;

Possess Welder’s card (an asset);

Adaptability and autonomy;

Ability to work in a team environment;

Physically fit;

Good sense of priority.
