Overview
Matrix Metal is in need of a well rounded journeyman Fabricator/welder with a minimum of 15 years experience to add to our growing team.
Ideally we are looking for a very well rounded individual with strong fabrication and some proficient welding skills. 15 years experience minimum.
We are a custom shop working on things like Stainless hand rails, Steel stairs, Carts, ramps, Props, etc.

We work with Mild Steel, Aluminum and Stainless Steel on a daily basis. The ability to Tig weld or willingness to practice and learn on your time is a must.
However I would prefer strong fabrication skills over strong tig welding skills. I can teach you how to Tig weld if you are willing to put the time to learn.
This position can start as part time/casual if desired but ideally will be full time and permanent for the right candidate. Everyday we are getting busier and busier.
We are also looking at moving and expanding our shop in the next few months. So someone that is willing to learn and grow with us is ideal and being a new company there is lots of room for growth and promotion in a short period of time.
If you possess or have had a CWB smaw ticket recently that would also be an asset. fall protection and Genie lift tickets are also preferred assets. But not essential.
