Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

As the junior fabricator, you will be responsible for fabricating world class parts and components from all types of plastic, rubber and urethane. This includes the use of hand and power tools to make parts to print. The junior fabrication position has a very direct growth path for career advancement. You will report to the Fabrication Supervisor at our flagship location in Langley, BC.

WHAT YOU WOULD DO:

  • Quickly and effectively fabricate parts and components
  • Operate hand and power tools to make world class products(Drill press, jig saw, grinders, band saw, utility knife, tape measure)
  • Train to use table saw, router, manual mill with supervision
  • General understanding of blueprints
  • Operate forklift to pull and stock materials
  • Accurately record times and materials
  • Complete all Q.C and factory documents
  • Perform machine maintenance
  • Conform to all safety requirements and wear PPE as needed
  • Maintain a clean work area
  • Collaborate with team members and other manufacturing departments to achieve company goals
  • Perform other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum grade twelve diploma
  • Able to use basic power tools such as drill press, jigsaw, grinders, band saw, utility knife and tape measure
  • Detailed oriented
  • Willingness to learn and work as a part of a team
