Overview
Responsibilities:
- Welding in the flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead position
- Secure necessary jigs and fixtures, filler material to properly perform welding operations
- Physically fit for medium to heavy lifting
- Practice good housekeeping to keep the work site clear of hazards
- Participate in safety meetings
- Travel to sites throughout the lower mainland
Requirements:
- Must have own transportation and a valid driver’s license to get to job sites
- CWB certified in all positions
- 2+ years of hands-on welding experience, including stick and flex-core
- Able to read shop drawings, weld symbols, specifications for direction as to final product
