EquipmentShare is searching for a Regional Traveling Welder Technician for Beaumont office in Beaumont, TX.

The Regional Traveling Welder Technician
will provide maintenance and repair for the company’s industrial welding fleet consisting of engine drive and electric welders.. You’ll document service, perform functionality and safety tests, and spend a great amount of time working one-on-one with our customers. You should have super strong electrical and diesel engine knowledge, plus experience reading and understanding electrical schematics. Our tech should:

  • Travel to locations in the Gulf Coast Regions locations (covering Texas, Louisiana, Southern Mississippi and Southern Arkansas)
  • Provide support to local branches such as: service calls, make readies, machine inspections, fixing hard or soft down equipment and any other service needs within the branch level.
  • Weekly travel up to 80-85% of the time.
  • Have experience with but not limited to MIG, TIG and STIC welders, Diesel and Natural Gas Generators, Wire Feeders, and other welding equipment.
  • Champion safe job practices for repairing equipment
  • Use technology (laptops and tablets) comfortably
  • Be eager and able to fix nearly any piece of equipment
  • Enjoy working directly with customers to solve their problems
  • Work well in a team environment and communicate effectively
  • Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements (preferred)
