MTD is a midsized contract manufacturer specializing in die building, metal stamping, powder coating and electro-mechanical and welded assemblies. We have been in business for over 40 years, serving customers across Canada and the USA.
We are looking for the right candidates to join our TEAM.
Summary of job duties:
DAY SHIFT 7:00am to 3:30pm
AFTERNOON SHIFT 3:30pm to 12:00am
- Spot-welding
- Grinding/sanding
- Fit and assemble metal parts and subassemblies using hand and power tools
- Must perform daily inspection of parts
- Visual inspection of parts
- Packing parts
- Able to maintain production standards and efficiencies
- Work effectively with assembly related tools
- Remove parts from own work station during line changes as instructed and re-stock
- Responsible for maintaining productivity and efficiency as per Work Order specifications
- required to work in any other assembly related operations must perform general cleaning or department and own work area
