Overview
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Complete all fabrication task as assigned by the supervisor/chargehand accurately and efficiently
- Ability to operate fabrication machinery and hand tools safely and effectively
- Check that equipment used is working correctly and fit for purpose, record defects and notify supervisor
- Ensure all programme dates are achieved on time and in full
- Ensure a commitment to quality at all stages of the project
- Checking and maintaining quality output
- Self-inspect completed items
- Complete required paperwork and make it available for the next operation and update MRP system
- Maintain high levels of housekeeping
