Overview
Are you a welder fitter in Cambridge? Are you looking for a full-time position and have experience with welding/fitting? Are you enthusiastic and willing to learn a new trade? If so, keep reading for more information!
You do not require a valid welding ticket for this role!
In this role you will be:
- spot, fit and assemble various mold components to close tolerance using hand and power tools
- welding
- read and interpret readings and blueprints
- grinding and polishing metal
- record and report deviations from specifications and tolerances
- verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments
- use micrometers and calipers
- computing dimensions and tolerances and measure and layout work pieces

- 7 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Thursday and 7 am to noon on Fridays

Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- must have experience with aluminum and steel welding
- polishing/finishing experience required
- attention to detail
- excellent communication skills
- ability to prioritize tasks and time management skills
- strong eagerness to learn the trade
- excellent attendance
- good work ethic
