LRX and Herc have chosen beautiful Bowmanville, Ontario as the location for their new high-tech manufacturing facility.

Short Description

We are currently seeking a permanent full-time Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team in creating Industry leading Robotic Movie Lighting Systems.

Responsibilities

Read and Interpret drawings and weld symbols

Determine required equipment and proper welding methods

Jig, fixture and layout components and sub-components as required

Fill out appropriate paperwork and work orders in a timely, professional manner

Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Comply with all relevant Health and Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.

Requirements

RSE 456A or 437A Considered an Asset

Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in GTAW, GMAW, FAW, PAW, SMAW, TIG and MIG

Ability to weld Steel, Stainless, and Aluminum

CWB certification an asset

Attention to detail

Problem solving skills

Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Able to work overtime and/or weekends when required to complete necessary tasks

Able to work independently as well as in a team environment

Experience with Press Brakes, Iron workers, band saws and drill presses

Experience with pneumatic tools, grinders, oxy-acetylene torches, and plasma cutters.

Ability to follow weld procedures

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
