Overview

Custom fabrication / fitting specialists are required.

Our fitters/metalworkers/fabrication specialists will be working primarily on customization/repairs/fabrication for commercial/industrial and domestic applications.

50% of our jobs are off-site (industrial, commercial, and residential areas). 50% is on-site in the workshop.

Applicants must be able to perform drilling, cutting, grinding, bending, shaping, etc., Applicants must be able to read and interpret fabrication/welding symbols/shop drawings and execute according to job specifications in the drawings.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Must be able to read and interpret shop drawings.
  • Must be experienced in all types of welding (Steel, Aluminum, Cast Iron).
  • Customization, fabrication, and repairs for framing (steel) and aluminum.
  • Must work per HSE regulations, company rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Must be able to work independently and with a team, depending on the job.
  • Must be able to use power tools (grinding, drills, cutting torches, plasma cutting, etc.)
  • Must be able to drive responsibly with a pickup-trailer attachment.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Will be working outdoors and indoors.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs (occasionally).
  • We supply all shop tools.
  • Must have own welding helmet and general welder fitter tools.
  • Must wear safety shoes and PPEs.
  • Work at height (occasionally).

COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Fitting: 2 years or more (Preferred)
  • Welding: 2 years or more (Preferred)
  • Custom Metal Fabrication: 2 years or more (Preferred)
  • Full G license.

Salary: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
