Industrial Metalwork Inc. has a new 10,000 sq ft. shop located in Tumbler ridge, BC. We specialize in providing maintenance work on mining equipment and additional work includes, maintenance and operations work, construction, utilities and other heavy industries.
Tumbler Ridge isthe home of the Tumbler Ridge UNESCO Global Geopark! Tumbler Ridge is a dream destination for the outdoor enthusiast. Made up of waterfalls, unique rock formations, alpine meadows and lakes, canyons, mountain summits, caves and more to discover!
Any welders with mining experience is ideal for this position.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Ensure work instructions are carried out as per Supervisor or Lead Hand’s directives.
- Ensure tolerances and specifications are met per company standards.
- Meet assigned production goals and objectives.
- Comply with Industrial Metalwork safety and quality standards
- Maintain clean and orderly tools, work area and equipment.
- Project Shift is 20 days on and 10 day off, 10-12 hour days.
- Crew house provided
- Day shift
- Night shifts (includes night-shift-premiums)
