Automotive Key Account Manager Southwest Ontario – Perfect Welding Canada

At Fronius Canada we are currently looking for a passionate Automotive Key Account Manager for Southwest Ontario (from Milton to Windsor) – Perfect Welding Canada to join our Sales & Service Team for our Perfect Welding Business Unit.

Fronius is a Technology Leader specializing in high quality welding solutions for arc welding. We are masters of the entire spectrum: SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, Plasma, and Laser Hybrid.

Main tasks (non-exhaustive list):
Reports to Regional Sales Manager for Ontario.

Responsible for yearly Business Plan and Sales & Service Revenues of automotive accounts

Responsible for the sale of Fronius robotic and manual systems as well as Fronius Services to Tier 1 and Tier 2 automotive accounts

Identify and maintain close relationships with key decision makers, C-level executives, middle management, and floor employees in all automotive accounts

Prospect new automotive accounts and uncover new projects

Prepare and present quotations, presentations, and ROI studies to automotive customers

Support Area Sales Managers with automotive projects, welding system configurations, presentations, meetings, contracts and closing sales.

Coordinate Fronius Technical Support for welding trials and resolve customer issues

Utilize CRM to document all activities and sales opportunities

Educate automotive accounts on existing and new technology benefits

Identify trends in the automotive industry and communicating them to the Fronius Team

Liaise with Fronius International on market updates, projects, new business

Completed higher technical / commercial education

Must have experience in selling capital equipment to tier 1 and tier 2 automotive customers

Ability to manage Executive, Middle Management, Welders and Technical decision makers

Key account Management experience in the automotive segment

Strong track record in closing and managing projects

Must have extensive robotic welding knowledge – particularly in the automotive sector

Communicative personality with excellent presentation and negotiation skills

Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and CRM

Willingness to travel within defined sales territory
