We are a 70 year old family business operating in Barrie. We are both supplier of sheet metal and custom manufacturer of sheet metal products. We are a small business with a small number of employees.
Looking to fill a permanent job opening for a Brake Press Operator – Welder. We have had an employee that has relocated so we are looking for a dedicated career person.
Applicants will need to be able to read drawings and be proficient in both inches and metric. They will be proficient in math and have a general knowledge of construction. Persons with a positive and energetic personality will do well. Hours are 44 per week. Starting wage is negotiable with advancement possible. Benefits are also available.
An essential service to the area, we have not been permitted to shut down and have remained very busy. We have operated with curbside pick-up so we have been able to ensure the safety of our employees. With restrictions removed, we are currently open to the public. The building is large and social distancing here is not an issue at all. Minimal customer contact will be required as customer are not permitted in the facility.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
