Overview
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Set up and operate a router operation (to make large welded liners for the transportation industry)
- Ability to use CNC equipment to cut, trim, slot, chamber, profile, shape material
- The operator will pull up programs, make minor adjustments to programs, install machine accessories like pins, cutting tools, templates, spoil boards
- Proven ability to follow standards, rules, policies, work instructions and directions
- Ability to operate hand held tools & measuring equipment
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure and deadline
- Ability to work cohesively in a team based environment
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical skills
- Good visual/color vision and eye/hand coordination
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills and organizational skills
- Above average attendance
- Previous experience operating CNC equipment, able to read blueprints/diagrams
- Excellent computer and math skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to safely operator forklift

Schedule:
- 8.5-hour shifts
- Day shift/afternoon shift, rotating every 2 weeks
- Day shift: Monday – Thursday 6:00am – 2:30pm, Friday 6:30am – 2:30pm
- Afternoon shift: Monday – Thursday 2:30pm – 11:00pm, Friday 2:30pm – 10:30pm
COVID-19 considerations: All employees are required to be fully vaccinated (2 doses)
