Overview

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate a router operation (to make large welded liners for the transportation industry)
  • Ability to use CNC equipment to cut, trim, slot, chamber, profile, shape material
  • The operator will pull up programs, make minor adjustments to programs, install machine accessories like pins, cutting tools, templates, spoil boards
  • Proven ability to follow standards, rules, policies, work instructions and directions
  • Ability to operate hand held tools & measuring equipment
  • Demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure and deadline
  • Ability to work cohesively in a team based environment

  • Strong mechanical skills
  • Good visual/color vision and eye/hand coordination
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills and organizational skills
  • Above average attendance
  • Previous experience operating CNC equipment, able to read blueprints/diagrams
  • Excellent computer and math skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to safely operator forklift

Schedule:

  • 8.5-hour shifts
  • Day shift/afternoon shift, rotating every 2 weeks
  • Day shift: Monday – Thursday 6:00am – 2:30pm, Friday 6:30am – 2:30pm
  • Afternoon shift: Monday – Thursday 2:30pm – 11:00pm, Friday 2:30pm – 10:30pm
