Seeking an individual with preferred (2 years) of metal fabrication combo welding experience, or a motivated individual, with mathematical knowledge and prior fabrication experience, that is willing to have on the job training and establish a long term career.

30 years established company currently based East of Tampa in Dover Florida. Seeking a motivated individual to fill a Combo Welder/ Fabricator position.

Job Description: .

  • Works with job foreman or managers to assess and diagnose all variables from start to finish on each project. Works as a team player and does any assigned job to the best of ability.
  • Candidate will generally use on daily basis: MIG, TIG and stick welding, drill and impact driver, grinders, portaband, hand plasma machine, torch, metal saw, assorted hand tools etc.
  • Receives work orders and shop prints, developing sketches and using shop calculations if necessary.
  • Selects materials according to strength, durability and suitability for the particular job.
  • Candidate will (preferably) need to have experience working with materials ranging from 11 gauge – 24 gauge (steel and stainless steel), plus .040 – 1/4 aluminum.

  • Produce products and custom fabrication from raw metal
  • Stick, MIG, TIG weld, Torch, Drill, Plasma machine
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively
  • Able to read blueprints, shop drawings and other technical documents
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy are required
  • Able to take direction well
  • Must be in good physical shape and able to safely lift at least 50 pounds
  • Ability to read a tape measure
  • Ability to walk, bend, squat, grasp and grab
  • Must be able to work OT (MANDATORY/VOLUNTARY)
  • Reliable vehicle
  • Have personal hand tools
  • Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal
  • Minimum of HS diploma or GED

Pay: Start Out Pay- Determined upon experience $16-$21 per hour.

Work Schedule: 7:00am-4:00pm Monday- Friday
