(2nd and 3rd Shift)
Description
- Utilize MIG, TIG and stick welding methods on materials such as 300 & 400 series stainless steels, Inconel and a variety of steels
- Set up and utilization of rotary positioners
- Weld repair castings defects to restore casting integrity
- Complete fit restoration on inside & outside diameters as well as shoulders and faces
- Heat treat and anneal parts by method of Lucifer oven and document results
- Complete hardness checks and document results
- Maintain welder continuity logs in an online SharePoint site
- Complete weld touch-up in various areas of the facility using portable welder
- Complete fabrications of both plate and tube stock
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two (2) years welding experience
- Ability to read and follow route sheets/Blue Prints
- Must be proficient in welding with MIG, TIG and stick in materials such as 300 & 400 series stainless steels, Inconel and/or a variety of steels
- Must have experience in set up and utilization of rotary positioners
- Experienced with weld procedures, including pre-heats and post weld heat treats
- Ability to read and interpret drawings using conventional tolerances as well as geometric tolerances
- Complete own set-ups, trouble-shoot and solve problems with welding processes and results
- Able to define, evaluate and discuss quality workmanship related to welding
- Work overtime as required

Preferred Experience / Skills
- Vocational certification in welding preferred
QC testing/NDT knowledge would be a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 – $28.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
