Overview

Brandt is currently seeking a Fabrication Lead Hand for our Regina, SK location. This position is responsible for following each week’s production schedule and ensuring production orders are completed on time and meet the current prescribed standards.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with mentoring new/current welders to ensure all production procedures and safe work practices are followed
  • Follow production schedule as laid out by foreman
  • Bring new cost saving ideas to the attention of the Fabrication Supervisors/Managers
  • Ensure all products are built to Brandt standards
  • Promote/practice 5S/Lead initiatives
  • Report any unsafe actions, damage to company property, and other issues to the Fabrication Supervisors/Managers
  • Keep Foremen and Supervisors aware of the status of the production schedule
  • Ensure standard work agreements are being adhered to for each area owner
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills

Required Experience

  • Must be flexible to adjust to shifting priorities and deadlines
  • Must be a self-motivator
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a fabrication environment required
  • Must be able to work independently
