Objective
At CCI, our Fabricators create insulation specifically ordered for any unique situation As a Fabricator, you will operate a band saw, and other types of saws, to custom fabricate fiberglass, mineral wool, perlite, and many other types of specialized insulation. This unique offering sets CCI apart from our competitors.
Essential Job Functions
Safely and efficiently operate band saws and other equipment
Accurately measure material for efficiency
Maintain quality and housekeeping
Comply with all safety requirements
Perform other fabrication duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum of one-year related experience and/or training in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
Experience using band saw and capable of learning to use other types of saws
Able to be medically certified to wear respirator
Basic computer skills preferred
Physical Requirements
The work is performed in non-climate controlled environment with moderate noise level. Must be capable of lifting a maximum of 23 kg. Must be capable of handling bulky boxes and materials. Standing for possibly long periods of time often is required. Fine motor skills required in operation and maintenance of fabrication equipment. Kneeling or crouching often required in operation or maintenance of fabrication equipment.
