We are looking for a skilled CSA47.1 CWB certified welder/fitter.
- Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time
- Start date: As soon as possible
- Day 7:30 – 16:00, may include overtime and weekend
Job requirements
- Languages: English
- Canadian Citizen and/or possess applicable Work Visa & S.I.N. card
- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
- Experience: Experience an asset
- Own Tools/Equipment: Tools, Steel-toed safety boots, Face shield, Welding helmet
- Additional Skills: Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes, Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
- Area of Specialization: Custom fabrication
- Equipment and Machinery Experience: Arc welding machine
- Type of Materials: Stainless steel, Steel, iron and heavy metals, Aluminum alloys
- Specific Skills: Interpret welding process specifications, Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment, Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment, Fit, braze and torch-straighten metal, Determine weldability of materials, Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
- Welding Techniques: MIG, TIG & ARC welding
- Work Setting: Manufacture
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $18.00-$27.00 per hour
