Our team of highly experienced machinists and project managers has allowed us to produce an array of projects to support many different industries throughout the years to exceed our custom expectations.

We are looking for a FITTER / WELDER to start as soon as possible. We have openings on days and afternoons. We typically operate on a rotating shift of days and afternoons.

Job Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience for intermediate level fitter
  • English language
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent
  • Able to stand for extended periods work within a fast-paced environment and have an attention for detail to ensure tight deadlines are met
  • Steel-toed safety boot and measuring tape
  • Current certification
  • Good understanding or math fundamentals

Duties

  • Examine blueprints and materials list to obtain parts specifications
  • Fit and assemble structural frameworks and housings from materials following blueprint
  • Position parts in jigs and file, chisel, and grind parts, as indicated, to fit them together.
  • Compare dimensions of assembly to blueprint, using square, rule, and calipers.
