Overview
Provincial Sign Systems, in Pickering, Ontario, is seeking full time General Assembly and Fabrication Laborers.
For more than 40 years Provincial Sign Systems has been dedicated to supplying a wide range of quality signage, transit shelters, street furniture, billboards and media spectaculars to our clients with a focused commitment on quality and professional, courteous, expert customer service.
Responsibilities and Duties:
· General knowledge of hand and air tools.
· Measuring, drilling, grinding, cutting.
· Follow schematic fabrication drawings and assembly directions
· Knowledge of hardware and fasteners
· Handle aluminum, steel and various plastics safely.
· Knowledge of adhesions, glues, epoxy…etc…
· Simple wiring and installation of sockets, lamps, LED, ballasts and transformers.
· Keep a clean and organized working station/environment.
· Safe lifting and moving of materials.
· Product protection/wrapping/packaging.
Minimum requirement:
· Must be physically capable with no restrictions on mobility and without pre-existing injury that could be affected by physical work.
· May be required to use safety ladders from time to time.
· Must have safety work boots, and your own set of personal hand tools. All power tools will be supplied.
Compensation to be determined based on experience and position.
