Job Title:

General Labourer/Helper

Main Purpose of the Job:

Is responsible for assisting ATH Stainless Steel staff in completing their assigned tasks, assist with cleaning facilities equipment and tools and providing manual labour services as and when required.

Perform other related duties as required.

Reports to:

Heads of Departments

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 1 year of manufacturing/ general labour / assembly/ machine operation/ shipping & receiving/ material handling experiences.

· Ability to rotate job task in warehouse and manufacturing area.

· Ability to do repetitive work inside warehouse for General Labor roles

· Ability to lift 40lbs in manufacturing plant for General Labor roles

· The job would be Assembling components using Air and Hand tools (i.e. air gun, hammer, screwdrivers, knives, etc.).

· Ability to run small presses(Air – Hydraulic)

· Ability to quickly detect quality concerns

· Ability to follow any fixture instructions and use simple measuring equipment.

· Excellent housekeeping.

· Ability to learn new skills.

· Ability to work in a team.

· Ability to wear Safety goggles, steel toed boots, ear protection and dust mask.

Qualifications:

· A brief knowledge about materials, manufacturing and machining including tool measuring and reading.

· To work under the safety measures of ‘Ontario Health and Safety Act’ and ‘WHMIS’

Working Conditions:

· This is a fast pace environment. Work must be accomplished in a timely manner, and/or as per customer requirements.

· Perform other related duties as required.

· Able to work on weekends and overtime whenever necessary.

Physical Requirements

· The ability to wear Safety goggles, Steel toed boots, Ear protection and Dust mask.

· Ability to lift weight upto 40lbs.

· Excellent Housekeeping.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
