Established in 1979, Toro Aluminum has became a leader in the development and manufacturing of window walls and doors for high-rise condominiums, office buildings and hotels, across Canada, the United States, and Mexico. Commdoor Aluminum, a company part of the Toro Group, is a supplier of architectural aluminum curtain wall and entrance systems.

REPORTING

The Door Assembler reports directly to the Plant Manager at Commdoor Aluminum. The shift available is Day Shift – Monday-Friday 7:30AM-4PM.

RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Assembly of hardware and door components
  • Work in a safe and efficient manner
  • Clean work area and equipment
  • Assist other departments as necessary
  • Perform other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years of hardware experience in the aluminum doors and windows industry
  • Must be able to work in a safe manner with little supervision
  • Ability to understand and interpret technical information
  • Excellent organization, time management, problem solving and communication skills
  • Team player with a “can do” attitude
