Knowledge, Experience, Qualifications & Skills:
- Welder certification
- The ability to read safety rules and blueprints
- Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on safety
- Experience working in the field
- Operating angle grinders to weld specific metals
- Experience in hoisting/rigging will be considered
- Ability to multitask
- Accountable and dependable
- Clean driver’s abstract and valid driver’s license
- Motivated & team orientation
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Fitting of metal
- Assemble material as per drawing
- Weld as per welding symbols
- Lay out of holes
- Rigging & handling
- Assembly of weldments
- Participate at shutdowns
- Troubleshooting and identifying issues and hazards
- Work in a safe manner by following all Occupational Health & Safety Regulations and Company Policies and Procedures
- Perform other essential duties as required
Salary: Salary will commensurate with qualifications and experience
Earlton, ON is located between the towns of New Liskeard and Englehart and is 2 hours north of North Bay.
