Overview
The Installation Fabrication Support role reads drawings and uses various tools and fasteners to install guard rails, metal canopies, metal trim, baseboards, and other architectural metal features. Duties include:
· Read, understand, and interpret drawings and specifications
· Install fabricated components using various fastener methods including glue, epoxy and hammer drills
· Lay out reference points and patterns in accordance with the templates and drawings
· Monitor quality of installations
· Overtime as required
· Other duties as required
Skills and Experience:
· Experience working with mild steel, stainless and aluminum
· Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
· Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
· Experience with railing and canopy installations, or similar an asset
· Understanding of installation procedures and requirements
· Excellent organization and time management skills, problem solving and decision-making skills
· Good verbal and written communication
· Valid driver’s license
· Must be able to reliably commute to site locations as work requires.

$20.00 – $25.00/hour, commensurate with experience
