Overview
We’re a 20+ year Jacksonville based manufacturer of a variety of products ranging from large ductwork for commercial boilers and structural steel assemblies, to handrails and door frames, as well as metallic and non-metallic expansion joints for flue gas ductwork.
We are growing quickly and have an ongoing need to add skilled, dedicated people to our team. We’re currently seeking welders / fitters / fabricators, and shop hands.
REQUIREMNTS:
-Must be able to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications and in a timely fashion.
-Welders must have experience. Test will be given. Be well versed in MIG welding steel and stainless (TIG and Stick experience a +)
-Must be reliable, self-motivated, team oriented and a problem solver.
-Possess good communication skills.
-Must pass drug screening.
-Must be able to effectively operate MIG welder, hand and power tools.
-Operation of a guillotine shear, brake press, iron worker, horizontal band saw.
-Ability to identify materials list on blueprints.
-Ability to measure and lay out cutting and or welding of materials.
-Be able to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams to ensure proper dimensions of finished product to meet design requirements.
-Must be able to clean, prepare, cut, burn steel plate.
-Position can sometimes require lifting and physical labor.
-Dependability is a must. You must have punctual attendance, be able to follow instructions and respond to management direction.
-Must have reliable transportation.
Company provides competitive wages with full benefits after 90 days (including 100% of health insurance). Wages are based on skills and experience.
Shop hours: 6:00AM – 4:30PM Monday -Thursday with overtime. (Currently working Fridays as well)
