We are seeking a Full Time and Part Time – Journeyman Welders and Millwrights, to support our clients and upcoming projects.

Job Position

Reporting to the owners, the Journeyman will be responsible for working safely and repairing, modifying and performing preventative maintenance of a wide variety of metals and industrial equipment. You will need to be available for emergency calls, travel, various shifts, working outdoors in all seasons, working at heights, confined spaces, and overtime.

Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in safety activities (FLHA, TOOL BOX).
  • Ensure compliance with all Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
  • Repair of industrial and mechanical equipment in the field or shop.
  • Cutting, gouging, lancing, welding, plasma, grinding a wide variety of metals.
  • Read and interpret, work orders, drawings, blue prints, assembly drawings, schematics.
  • Installing, aligning, dismantling, rebuilding, and moving of stationary industrial and mechanical equipment.
  • Correct use of lifting devices and rigging.
  • Navigate to client sites and meet with them and follow their directions.

Qualifications

  • Journeyman Welder / Millwright with 3 to 5 years experience
  • Consistent commitment to working safely
  • 5 years of industrial experience.
  • Experience in mining and forestry mills and asset.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to work in adverse conditions
  • Self motivated team player with a positive attitude who can work in group or on their own with minimal supervision
  • Valid drivers license
  • Fall Protection, Confined Space tickets are an asset.
  • Provide on call support when needed
  • Legally permitted to work in Canada
  • Have your own tools (specialty provided)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $25.00-$45.00 per hour
