We are currently looking to add a Lead Welder/Fitter to our team!

We are searching for a professional and driven employee for fill a full-time, permanent position at Brent’s Welding and Fabrication Inc.

Brent’s Welding and Fabrication is a fast-growing business offering services in southern Ontario. This is the perfect opportunity to get onboard with a fast-growing company with multiple career advancement opportunities. This role will include shop/on-site management/leadership including mentoring, training, and organizing day-to-day activities of employees.

Some of your day-to-day tasks will include the following:

  • In shop and mobile site supervision
  • On-site fitting and welding of structural components
  • Welding repairs on damaged products
  • Setup and proper maintenance of welding equipment
  • Participate in constructibility, design reviews and meetings when needed
  • In-shop fabricating new products from shop drawings and sketches

What skills, assets, and experience we require:

  • Five years of fitting experience
  • Five years of welding experience
  • Three year in a leadership role
  • CWB tickets in GMAW and SMAW
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications with little assistance
  • Ability to work in a leadership role including mentoring and training
  • Willingness to learn new skills
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Forklift/AWP/Tele-handler experience or ticket considered an asset
  • Own safety equipment (including but not limited to helmet, CSA safety boots, welding attire)

Salary: $22.00-$29.00 per hour
