Sunrise Poultry Processors Ltd., one of the largest individual chicken processing plants in Western Canada is currently looking to hire a 5th Class Power Engineer with welding experience to join our team. We’re looking for dedicated individuals who always show up for work on time and who thrive in a team-oriented enviroment. Successful candidates will have prior experience in the a factory environment.
Core Responsibilities:
Troubleshooting issues
Maintain mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic equipment in all areas of the plant, including live end productiuon.
Equipment Installation
Fabrication
Welding
Electrical
Boiler Checks
Plumbing and machine upgrades in order to meet daily production targets and ensure a safe work environment.
Experience/Qualifications
Critical thinking and problem solving skills
5th Class Power Engineer ticket for boiler operations would be an asset
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with food industry experience is an asset.
