Overview
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILTIES
Operating a torch and stick welder
Operating telehandler or loader to lift objects and complete tasks
Responsible for maintaining any equipment used
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent
Working independently
Operating a manlift
Perform routine maintenance related to crushing concrete, asphalt and washing plants including screen/hammer changes, belt splices, change v-belts, motors, and align sheaves.
Utilizing manual dexterity, problem solving skills and attention to detail.
REQUIRMENTS
Valid G driver license
Capable of operating a service truck as required
Ability to work at different locations around the Ottawa area including Brechin, Tatlock and Napanee
Ability to work well with others
General knowledge of processing plant equipment
Ability to work quickly, efficiently and in a safe manner
Available to work; days as well as evenings, nights and weekends as required
