Overview
Initial dayshift with progressing to shifts.
Applicants with experience in rotating machinery, hydraulics and pneumatics would be advantageous.
Role Details:
Carry out scheduled planned maintenance work on mechanical equipment.
Dismantle and reassembly of pumps – centrifugal and positive displacement.
Removal and re-installation of mechanical seals (Cartridge and component types)
Alignment of Rotating Equipment.
General process and conveying equipment e.g. agitators, gear boxes, hydraulics, pneumatic and conveyors
Specialised equipment – hydraulic baling presses, expanders and expellers.
You will be required to carry out repairs as quickly and efficiently as possible on above equipment.
Assembly and dis-assembly of site pipework (Utility and chemical process)
Undertake general workshop fitting skills including occasional machining, burning, welding and lifting operations.
Read and interpret engineering drawings of various plant to ensure correct tolerance and fits are maintained for efficient plant operation.
Applicants preferred who have a mechanical biased qualification/apprenticeship or equivalent.
