Salford Group is currently seeking a reliable person to work in their Fabrication Department, at 20 Phebe street (Turn east at lights, last street turn right). The successful candidate will be part of a Manufacturing team responsible for Fabrication of agricultural equipment.

Requirements:

· 1-2 years Fabrication experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

· Read, understand, and follow job order specifications, engineering drawings, and /or work orders

· New fabrications, repairs, custom fabrication, and structural construction

· Operate punch press, brake press, lathe, saws and other related metal forming and cutting equipment

· To ensure equipment and tools are in good working condition, reporting maintenance services when required

· Ability to read, interpret blue prints and drawings

· Experience operating machinery and knowledge of advanced manufacturing techniques such as Kanban, Lean would be a definite asset

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Must be organized, proactive and maintain a positive attitude in the workplace

· Superior safety standards and practices

· Positive attendance history required

This position has full time openings for nights, with additional overtime available.

Nights Monday to Thursday, 42 hours/week
