The Spray Welder is responsible for performing high volume production of spray welded parts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Clean, Flame Spray and Fuse metal parts in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Operate complex equipment to carry out processed parts

Handle and use flammable and inert fuel gases

Process production part tests

Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping the work areas clean and organized

Operate necessary equipment for the necessary task (Colmonoy J3 Spray Welder)

Other Requirements

Ability to work in a high temperate environment wearing flame retardant clothing

Ability to work as a team player

Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers

Basic math skills/use of precision measuring instruments

Work Environment

This job operates in a manufacturing environment. This role routinely uses tools and other such equipment during the course of the job duties. Provided Personal Protective Equipment, as well as steel-toed boots or shoes, must be worn at all times.

Physical Demands

Moderate walking and climbing

Physically able to conduct inspections and carry equipment used for inspections

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; and stoop

Regular, predictable attendance is required

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time, first shift, position. Overtime and weekend hours may be required as job duties demand.
