Pipefitter/ Pipe Welder Supervisor

The pipe dept. supervisor position requires expert technical knowledge of ship board piping systems and welding applications in accordance with regulatory body requirements. The management of dept. personnel in a safe and productive manner in order to fulfill designated schedules, and budgets assigned to their various projects. The supervisor must be able to effectively communicate with the customer, regulatory representative, departmental members, and project management team members, through verbal and written report means. The supervisor must possess the computer skills necessary to submit time keeping requirements for assigned personnel, submit material requisitions, and submit project reports

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

High school education is desirable. Must have a minimum of 10 years of trade experience in pipefitting and or pipe welding.

Must be able to obtain maintain DBIDS access.
