Role: Plater / Welder
Location: Dunbar, East Lothian, Scotland
Rate of Pay: £19.38/hr LTD
Start date: Immediate
Duration: 3-4 weeks
Hours: 12hr shifts, Mon-Sun
The Role:
Integrate Engineering are recruiting for a team of Plater / Welders on behalf of our client for a cement plant outage in Dunbar, East Lothian. The work will involve plate repairs and welding on existing steel plate and channel. There will be a minimum of 3 weeks work, with the possibility of a further 4 weeks following inspections.
Duties will include:
– Using oxyacetylene burning equipment to remove sections of plate
– Setting out, marking and cutting steel plate
– Repairing heat distorted steel plate
– Plate, pipe, channel and bracket repairs
– MMA and MIG welding on 304 stainless and mild steel plate
Requirements:
– CCNSG card
– Experience of working in dirty environments and confined spaces
– Confined Space entry certificate – medium risk an advantage
– Plating and MMA and MIG welding experience
