Well we have that, and more. Manning Park Resort is a year round resort located between Hope and Princeton, BC. If you are ready to leave the hustle and bustle of city life, and enjoy outdoor fun and adventure, this is a great place to work. Staff housing is available, so your dream of living in the mountains is part of your adventure at Manning Park Resort.

The ideal applicant would have a Class B Gas Fitter certificate with 2 to 3 years experience, along with some basic handyman skills, and be able to think on their feet. You would also be able to work unsupervised, and would be psychically fit due to the nature of work. You may have to work in extreme weather, and be comfortable working at heights or in confined areas (basement crawl spaces or other).

Responsibilities include: (but not limited to)

  • New builds and renovations
  • General repairs, working with other maintenance personnel on projects
  • Able to work at heights
  • Some electrical / welding / plumbing / mechanical work

Job Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-4 years of Plumbing experience (preferred)
  • Minimum of 2 years of Gas Fitting experience (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge and experience in maintenance
  • Good physical condition, as position is physically demanding
  • Valid driver’s license is an asset
  • Excellent communication skills, as well as excellent problem solving abilities
