Tritech Fall Protection Systems is hiring dynamic individuals to join our growing team! We are looking for skilled labourers for installations throughout Canada. ***MUST TRAVEL***
THIS POSITION REVOLVES AROUND A HEAVY TRAVEL SCHEDULE, MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL WITHIN CANADA REGULARLY. WE PRIDE OURSELVES ON BALANCING WORK AND LIFE FOR OUR PEOPLE. THOUGH YOU MAY BE ON THE ROAD FOR A MAJORITY OF YOUR TIME WE STILL BELIEVE THAT TIME OFF FOR PERSONAL LIFE IS IMPORTANT.
DUAL VACCINATION FOR COVID-19 IS PREFERRED FOR THIS POSITION. Vaccination status will be asked during the interview process.
Position is on a traveling construction crew erecting and installing steel and cable/wire rope.
Must have minimum 2 years experience with steel erection, rigging, and / or carpentry trades.
Must be certified and able to: work at heights off of elevated work platforms, operate fork lift / manlift equipment, read construction blueprints, lift up to 50 pounds, work and communicate well with client representatives on job sites, maintain daily job records, act in a safe and professional manner at all times.
Safety tickets and training is preferred but not mandatory. Tickets preferred include fall protection, manlift / AWP, first aid, CSTS, OSSA etc.
Rope Access Technician training is an asset.
Candidates with professional appearance, excellent communication skills, computer experience, and ability to learn quickly, will have opportunity to promote into foreman position and/or have an opportunity to advance into running a fully equipped 2-ton bucket truck to complete our customers annual re-certifications.
Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract are Required.
Must be able to pass alcohol and drug testing requirements.
Starting wages from $25-$28.00 /hr. based on experience. Lots of opportunity for overtime, and Per Diem of $175.00 per day while working away from home.
Benefits package after 3-month probationary period.
