Responsibilities would include:
- Welding and fabrication using steel and aluminum MIG machines
- Operate the Oxygen torch, Acetylene torch and Plasma cutter
- Replace and section trailer panels as needed
- Knowledge on how to buck rivet panels
- Replace 53ft aluminum rails top and bottom
- Replace 53ft aluminum roof skin on dry freight and refrigerated trailers
- Repair or replace aluminum flooring for refrigerated trailers
- Fabricate barn doors for trailers and install
- Replace steel floor cross members
- Replace dolly leg assemblies and wing plates
The successful candidate will have …
- Minimum 3+ year’s Welding Experience
- Licensed 310J or equivalent as asset
- Experience welding wit steel & aluminum welding
- Must be able to weld 1/16” to 3/8”
- Must have experience working with large parts/fabrications
- Must be able to interpret drawings and/or blueprints
- Superior problem solving skills with the ability to think outside the box
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision and direction
