Are you a skilled Welder looking for a new opportunity in the Waconia area? Do you want to work for a local employer with a world vision? Doherty Staffing Solutions has partnered with a leading supplier of technology and equipment for the world fertilizer industry located near Waconia, MN. We are seeking candidates for a Welder role on 1st shift. Hours for this position are 5:30am-3:00pm, Monday through Thursday, and 5:30am-9:30am on Fridays. Overtime opportunities are also available on Fridays. Compensation for this direct hire role is $19.50+ per hour, depending on skills and experience. Interested? Read below for more information!
Welder Main Responsibilities:
- Metal inert gas (MIG) weld 1/16″ to 1/4″ gauge mild and stainless-steel components together using .035 to .045 diameter flux core hardwire welding equipment
- Weld components in flat, vertical or overhead positions
- Understand industrial safety procedures for welders and adhere to company safety standards
- Operate a forklift, jib crane, and overhead crane
- Interpret CAD and SolidWorks drawings
Welder Key Requirements:
- Welding certification from an educational institution
- Minimum of 2-years experience in welding
- Must have great problem-solving skills and basic math skills
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
