POSITION: Welder/Fabricator (Experienced – Levels 2 and 3)

SHIFT: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 am – 4:30 pm (Friday, 6:00 am – 11:00 am; additional OT as required)

PAY RATE: $22.00 – $24.00+ per hour (Depending On Experience) + Full Benefits Package

LOCATION: Lubbock, TX

Mastered all aspects of level 1 position

Qualified in welding disciplines required for the facility

Able to work on semi routine assignments

Requires minimal help from supervisor on new tasks

Maintains technical qualifications required for positions

Prompt and dependable attendance

Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND QUALITIES

Exhibit knowledge of material identification, equipment utilization and welding equipment set-up and maintenance

Fits and welds subassemblies into final position with flat or horizontal welds

Accurately measures to specified tolerances

Performs flat and horizontal welding

Advanced knowledge of weld symbols

Basic oxy fuel and/or carbon arcing

Able to final inspect welds

Able to do basic Layouts

Understand and follow oral and written directions

Ability to read a tape measure (imperial and metric)

Ability to work with others

Ability to work safely and accurately

Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions

Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly

Ability to be truthful and be seen as credible in the workplace

Ability to make decisions or take actions to solve a problem or reach a goal

The trait of being dependable and trustworthy

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

3-5+ year(s) of welding experience preferred.
