Job description

Fuller Industrial Corporation, the largest rubber liner, most advanced pipe fabricator in North America, and a significant force in abrasion and impact resistant replacement parts for heavy industry is recruiting for an experienced Welder.

In this position the successful candidate will be accountable for:

  • Receiving, reading, and understanding work orders
  • Maintaining welds on pieces of the piping system using GMAW process
  • Maintaining shop equipment, tools, etc.
  • Reading, understanding, and interpreting drawings provided by internal and external engineering departments
  • Timely and accurate completion of paperwork
  • Performing work requests in a safe manner while following all necessary safety guidelines set out by provincial legislation and company policy
  • Performing other duties as required, including effective general clean-up

Qualified applicants will have the following:

  • GMAW Welding experience
  • Experience fabricating piping systems an asset
  • Read and write in English
  • Knowledge and understanding of the operation of shop tools
  • Understand quality requirements of ASME B31.3 and B31.1
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Willingness to work overtime
  • Ability to work independently a well as in a team environment
  • Ability to work safely with others in a manufacturing environment

Salary: $22.00-$30.26 per hour
