We are looking for Welders in Lloydminster and Wainwright.

Key Responsibilities

  • Layout, fitting and welding/installation of custom fabricated steel, carbon and stainless steel
  • Study blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine the type of pipe and tools to use
  • Measure, cut and prepare metal joints for welding
  • Spark watch, grinding and buffing
  • Install supports, walkways and platforms as per specifications
  • Follow Boom procedures and guidelines
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment

Requirements

  • Candidates will be required to pass a Drug and Alcohol and Fit for Work test upon hiring.
  • Previous experience as a Welder’s helper or registered Welder apprentice
  • Able to manage heavy materials, stand for extended periods and have the physical strength and stamina for proper lifting techniques
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Valid Driver’s Licence Class 5 or higher, clean abstract
  • Valid Safety courses – First Aid, H2S, CSTS-09, Aerial Work Platform & Fall Arrest
