Full Job Description
Thompson Engineering is looking for a Welder/Structural Steel Inspector to work on a large construction program at Tyndall AFB, FL. Assignment will be for 1 year (base) and 4 optional years.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in multimillion-dollar DOD projects.
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction welding and/or structural steel erection inspections
International Code Council (ICC) and/or American Welding Society (AWS) certifications in structural steel or welding inspections or installation is preferred
Excellent math skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
These characteristics are a plus:
Military Construction experience
Air Force Installation Experience
State of Florida experience
Corps of Engineers experience with Resident Management System (RMS)
