Overview
This position will be responsible for the Mig and/or Tig welding within welding areas throughout facility. This position will also assist with finishing weld touches in other welding areas. This position applies trade skills to a wide variety of welding jobs on ferrous and nonferrous metals. This position will report directly to the Production Supervisor.
The duties and responsibilities of this position will consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
- Read blueprints and communicate with co-workers
- Set up, run, and operate machinery
- Count and maintain accurate tracking system
- Report any equipment issues to department lead
- Perform periodic quality checks
- Complete all welding tasks on time
- Perform other duties as assigned

Work Experience: 1 year of experience with any area of welding or pass internal welding test
Education: No education required
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills necessary
Organization Skills: Maintain clean and organized work space
Cross-functional Skills: Ability to work and handle multiple job assignments
Communication Skills: Ability to communicate within a team setting
Physical, Mental and Visual Skills: Ability to walk, stand, sit, push, pull, reach above shoulders, fine repetitive motion, bend, stoop, climb ladder, ability to lift 65-85 pounds continuously for long periods of time, up to 10 hours per day
Physical Environment: Fast-paced manufacturing environment
Education: High School Diploma
Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office
