Our Fletcher, NC facility is looking for Axle Housing Technicians that will focus on welding on our drive axle housing units according to standard work instructions and engineering specifications in a safety and quality-driven manner.
Welding skills are needed by the technician and will be utilizing MIG Welding equipment to secure suspension and auxiliary brackets to our housings units based on our customers’ requirements.
Compensation:
$21.49 – $27.58 hourly
Responsibilities:
Candidates are expected to perform rework or repair operations on nonconforming material. 5S standards are expected. Safe forklift operation experience is a requirement. Candidates are also required to actively participate in employee engagement and Kaizen events to assist in achieving site initiatives as outlined in the Meritor Production System.
