At Bolton Stainless we fabricate stainless steel rails, masts, arches, etc. for boats and other marine applications, we have been in business over 20 years. As all of our customers are boat manufacturers, this job is not seasonal, it is very steady year-round work. The material that we work with is decorative, so nice looking work is always required.

We are looking for an experienced stainless TIG welder to our team and TIG weld 304 stainless. This is a bench job, so most work will be done at your workstation on a TIG 200 machine. This position will start from 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

PreferredExperience/Skills:

  • 1-2 Years TIG welding experience
  • Must have the ability to read and interpret drawings.
  • Knowledge of heat displacement and the way material reacts when heated.
  • Energetic attitude
  • Experience with small power tools, bench grinders, etc.
  • Working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Safety awareness & PPE protected.
  • Able to abide by quality control standards.
  • Experience with Stainless Steel (304L)
  • Able to cope with high-pressure situations.
  • Able to read a tape measure efficiently, and a protractor.
  • Ability to read and interpret cad drawings.

Duties for this position:

  • TIG Welding stainless parts.
  • Occasionally operating hydraulic press brake.
  • De-burring rough edges on CNC cut materials.
  • Welding parts in accordance with drawings & schematics.
  • Control heat dissipation to ensure products are correct to drawings.
  • Keep the work environment organized and tidy.
  • Occasionally operating a notcher, grinder, drill, bench grinder, and hydraulic press.
