Lantec Fabricating Ltd. is a structural steel and miscellaneous metals company looking for workers that are interested in the field of Structural Welding and Ironwork. Applicants must be motivated, and willing to be trained. The majority of sites are in Vancouver and surrounding urban areas.
Requirements:
-Valid drivers licence and own transportation
-Fall protection certification is mandatory
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Assisting welders and ironworkers
-Working from mobile elevated work platforms
-Adhering to health and safety policy and practices
Specific Skills:
-On the job, trade specific training will be provided
-Good with heights and sense of balance
-Good team working skills
-Great communication skills
-High level of practical skills
Required Tickets and Certification:
-Fall Pro
-Scissor Lift/Boom Lift (asset)
-First Aid (asset)
-Class 7 Forklift (telehandler) (asset)
Compensation:
– $20-$28 Based on performance and skill level
-.59c/km travel between sites
-Extended Health Benefits after 3 months or RRSP Contribution
Full-time with the option for overtime
