Overview
We are seeking highly motivated and experienced stainless steel structural and tube welder to join our growing organization. The successful candidate will work with a team of talented engineers, quality assurance experts and highly skilled trades people to delivery state of the art process systems.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Leadership role including mentoring and training
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications
- Fit- up and welding of stainless-steel structural members of varying sizes and thicknesses
- Fit- up of stainless-steel tube, pipe, and associated components (including sanitary)
- Must be a proficient TIG welder (Walking the Cup Cap an Asset)
- MIG welding is a benefit but not a requirement
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience welding stainless steel
- TIG welding experience in 6G position capable
- Required Weld 6G Coupon at interview
- Ability to read and interpret P&ID, equipment and fabrication drawings
- Safety oriented, observing proper lifting techniques and safe use of all equipment
- Able to work well under pressure while striving to meet commitments to clients
- High attention to detail in all areas of work with an ability to communicate both in writing and verbally
- Quality focused approach to work
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Must be able to communicate and understand English
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Salary: $27.00-$33.00 per hour
