Overview
Welder with more than 5yrs of experience; Permanent/full time position. With high school or equivalent certificate; Need to interpret welding blueprints, drawings, manuals & processes, examine welds to ensure standards are met. Need to operate brakes, shears & metal shaping, straightening & bending machines, fit, braze & torch-straighten metal, operate oxygen arc cutting equip., determine weldability of materials (stainless steel, steel, iron, heavy metals, aluminum alloys), operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts & products; specialize in custom fabrication; use gas & spot welding machine. Welding techniques; GTAW, TIG, OAW, SMAW, FCAW. Wage: $28 to $35 per hour – 40 hours per week (overtime, day)
