As part of a Career Progression Group, vacancies may be filled from this recruitment as a Trades Apprentice or Plumber depending on the level of experience of the selected applicant(s). The maximum salary for the Plumber is $4,883.00. The applicant selected for this position will work district wide with the District 08 Carpenter Maintenance Crew working on building maintenance. The work will involve carpentry work, plumbing, roofing, painting, concrete work, and miscellaneous other duties. The job will involve overtime and emergency services work as deemed necessary. The applicant selected for the job will report directly to the Carpenter Foreman. Preference will be given to the applicant with some computer skills.
Trade Apprentice: $11.99 hourly valid Louisiana Class “D” Chauffeur’s License is required
Plumber $15.71 hourly valid Louisiana Class “D” Chauffeur’s License is required
